Joe Igbokwe, former Lagos APC secretary and currently the special adviser on drainage and water resources to the governor of Lagos state has said that the Ohanaeze Ndiigbo youths owe him an apology for calling him Joe Yorubakwe and Joe Hausakwe for years after he told them to to seek political co-operation with both Hausa-Fulani and the Yoruba nation.
According to Him, The Igbo Youths have now realised their mistakes, Yesterday they said they are going to seek political co-operation with both Hausa-Fulani and the Yoruba nation. I hold no grudges and I take no prisoners.”
OHANEZE YOUTHS SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO ME.
“Even before 2015 Elections I had preached to my kith and kins in the South East that they need Hausa-Fulani nation and the Yoruba nation to be politically relevant if politics remains a game of numbers.”
“I was called Joe Yorubakwe and Joe Hausakwe for years and I endured it for years knowing fully well that one day the chicken will come home to roost.”
“Yesterday Ohaneze Youths said they are going to seek political co-operation with both Hausa-Fulani and the Yoruba nation. I hold no grudges and I take no prisoners.”
“When you go to bed and wake up by 2 pm in the afternoon that is your morning. If my people are now seeing what I have been saying for years, my duty is to encourage them and this I will do.”
“If they apologize to me I will take it and if they do not it will not bother me. I am just doing my duty to fatherland. Let the Igbo rise up and move. The time is now.”
