The Benue State government has said that it will not allow Miyetti Allah security outfit in Benue state
Recall that Miyetti Allah Reportedly established its security outfit called ‘Miyetti Allah Vigilante’, to operate nationwide.
In a statement by Tever Akase, Chief Press Secretary to governor Samuel Ortom, vows to stop the outfit from operating in the state, says the Fulani group has no constitutional right to set up a security outfit in any part of the country.
The state government further alleged that the group plans to use the outfit to further their ‘nefarious’ activities across the country.
“As much as we do not have any problem with Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore floating a security outfit in other states, it is important to say that such a vigilante group will not operate in Benue State.”
“Miyetti Allah has no constitutional right to establish a nationwide security outfit,” the statement read in part.”
